The distance SOFIA - DOBRINISHTE is 156 km. It takes 2:30 h to travel by car with average speed 60 km/h. The traffic passes on the International road E-79 (Sofia-Kulata), at the town of Simitli drivers must turn off for Gotse Delchev There are regular bus lines to all the largest towns in Bulgaria. The nearest airport is Sofia. The narrow-gauge railway line crosses the mountains.
The village of Dobrinishte is situated in the Southern part of Bulgaria, close to the border with Greece. It is located only 6 kilometres away from the biggest ski-centre in the Balkan Peninsula - the town of Bansko. It spreads at the foot of the Pirin mountains in an altitude of 850m, near the cross-point of the three magnificent mountains - Pirin, Rila and the Rhodopes.
